Back in Action!

Distance is said to make the heart grow fonder. Unfortunately, this is not true about blogging, but I definitely have more to chat about. So since I last posted much has occurred.

First, I would like to discuss what has been irritating me most lately. Enemy #1 - People that sign their name on a roll sheet and overlap upon others space for their signatures. It's not that hard people, you get your own line next to your name. Sign whatever fits in that space and move on with your life. What is the deal with people writing a full, ridiculous signature in a small space that is only needed to ensure that the registrar knows you went to class? How inconsiderate and selfish are you that you sign your fucking name so big that others can't sign their own name to ensure they are marked as present? I suppose that I should embrace this display of an ego, as perhaps their signature being in my space makes me present, however I know CWSL too well to assume that I will be marked present. In the end, it is annoying and must stop. You are not that important!

Second, the state of Arsenal football is a major issue in today's complicated world. There are reports that Arsene is being courted by Real Madrid to become their boss and also stories about Adebayor leaving the Emirates. It was a tough season for the Gunners, but I do think that the second half of the campaign showed some promise for the future. Everyone and their brother are saying that Arsene needs to go out and spend some money and get some solid defence as well as a strong central defensive midfielder. These requests are valid and the Gunners need to go out and get some depth in the back lines.

Additionally, we do need to consider what is going wrong in the front with the strikers. RVP is accurate, but he lacks the size and heading ability of some other leading strikers. If we are to resign RVP, which is likely to occurr soon, then we need to figure out what to do if and when Adebayor leaves. At this point, Ade needs to go as he has ruined his relationship with the fans, has showed that he has allowed outside distractions to affect his performance on the field, and has not become a constant question mark on the field. His goal against Villareal was amazing, but how many times does he simply chase the ball, so long as he is onside, and then do nothing with it. His game is lazy and I think it is time for Arsene to sell and get more quality players. Though I dislike Bendnter, he has shown some promise this season and would likely be able to fill in where needed. Again, this is not the best situation, but is one that Arsene needs to consider as Ade has shown a desire to leave and its time to cut ties and let him go.

More to come.
